What is the correct play, here?
$2 no limit MTT
40 players left, 20 places pay I have around T7500 and am just above average stack Blinds T200/T400 I'm in MP, with 2 limpers and find AK [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I raise to T2000 folded to UTG +1 who calls my raise Flop 9-6-3 rainbow UTG checks I bet T2400 UTG check raises all in, and has me covered Fold or call and why? This hand has been bugging me greatly, so any thoughts are extremely appreciated. |

if u are going to bet, push the flop.

If you're going to raise 33% of your stack you might as well push, you have a good chance of picking up all the limps, checking behind here and seeing a flop here is not bad either.
also, on the flop you're only move is to go all in on the flop or check behind, then check/fold the turn unless you improve. |

In your situation you should call even if villain flipped over QQ because his most likely holding is a pocket pair and you are a 3:1 dog, but the pot is laying you 4:1. I think his most likely holding is a PP, so I don't push after the flop. I check behind and take a free card.
You still have 13XBB left, and I would fold to a push and look for another opportunity. |

33% of his stack? Pre-flop or flop?
If you mean pre-flop (it was actually somewhere around 27%), what's the stack percentage cutoff where it's better to just go all in? 25%? |
