not benign and common.

I wholeheartedly agree. There is nothing benign about your post. In fact, idiocy such as yours is nearly always malignant. I'm afraid the prognosis is rather grim. I recommend a painful suicide, after eighteen days spent with the OED learning the mysteries of words like "benign." However, I'm afraid it may be too late.

Where is the option: "because they did a good job and deserve it."

What, pray tell, is your valued contribution to society?

My guess is an average, paper pushing, unsatisfied and obviously jealous of those who make more $ than him, cubicle dweller.

Edit: BTW...I was an average, paper pushing, unsatisfied cubicle dweller for ten years. Notice I took out the "jealous" thing.

Please don’t interpret my views on this subject as me being cheap...

This from a guy who wrote that he would tip $1 if he was part of a $100,000 bad beat. Your own words...

LMAO

Some original thought in your responses to my posts that contribute to the greater understanding of the subject for the forum’s convenience would be greatly appreciated by all. Rather than bashing my posts out of context, do try making a thoughtful response before you waste more of my time.

I recommend using the search function, which will reveal that douches like you have posted about this over and over and over and over.

I'm still laughing at you, but it's getting old. Please stop and go away. $1......lol (again).

Has anyone have anything useful to contribute to this discussion? I’m very interested why there have not been more positive responses to this poll. If you agree that poker dealer make too much money for the service they provide, please speak up, this is your chance.

Think about this. If you play just 15 hours of live poker per week and over tip a dollar per pot by default. You will tip off : $1170 of your profit per year if you win an average of 1.5 pots per hour.
If you play 40 hours of live poker per week and over tip a dollar per pot by default. You will tip off: $3020 of your profit per year if you win an average of 1.5 pots per hour.

How generous do you want to be now? Does your local dealer deserve a $3000+ bonus per year from you? What could you do with $1000+ per year? I’m certain Children International could use a couple thousand more than a degenerate card dealer.

Just my opinion.

Your opinion is not so good. At least it is "not benign."

please come up with a good reason why someone should earn even $25,000 per year for.....transporting plates of food

Do you really think that this is all waiters/waitresses do? If so, you really are uninformed and your views on tipping and this post are way out of line.
