Re: Girl Baby Names
[ QUOTE ]
for some odd reason, I've wanted to name a girl either Issabelle or Annabelle and then shorten it to Belle. God help her if I give her that name and she isn't good looking though. Some names just seem to demand a hot girl [/ QUOTE ] People would still talk about ringin' that... whether it's once or all day long. Brenna Kyra Kerry Riley Leah |

Re: Girl Baby Names
My daughter's name is Mia (pronounced: mee-ah).
It's Italian meaning mine (I'm not italian). She was named after Uma Thurman's (my favorite actress) character in Pulp Fiction (my favorite movie). If I have another girl her name will be Layla (Pronounced: just like it looks). It's Arabic meaning night (I'm not Arabic either). No significant reasoning behind it. I just like the name. |

I have an Emma and she is the cutest and smartest 2 year old in the entire world [/ QUOTE ] Only until my Emme turns 2. Emme = "plus-sized" model's name but the wife liked it. I'm kinda thinking a fat boy won't give me any grief by bringing boys around anyway. |

Re: Girl Baby Names
wow we've got some awful picks here folks.
pauline = old/country *belle = old/literary eleanora = good god old sophie = small dog's name joslyn = white trash jenna = porn mckayla = WHITE TRASH (madison and mckenzie and mckenna, basically mcanything are analogs) payton = also white trash jesus i'm scrolling and the white trash names keep coming! Brenna/Kerry/Riley/Leah, quite the white trash quartet fins! layla could be asking for sexual ridicule/trouble best one i've seen listed is audrey i think. for your critical pleasure, i'll offer my pick: ivy. short, easy to spell, tough, interesting but still a well-known word. ridicule is moderately possible a la poison ivy, but basically any name can be manipulated in that way via rhymes. as long as it isn't sexual or extreme i don't mind. i think it's important to pick names that somebody can define, and not a name that can define them. a name like jane you cannot define because it is ultra common. a name like cadence is so self-defining that you cannot define it. i like the kind of names that people know, but not know too well. with a good personality they can actually define what their name means to the people that know them. |
