Welcome to the forum.

Raise the flop. There was significant pf action, so you'll often be up against at least one decent hand. Your opponents also tend to take their hands too far.

Nice river. I'm not putting Villain on a straight given the pf/flop action. Most times you win.

No one cares that you lost to runner-runner. It happens to everyone around here on a regular basis. What was it about this hand that you were unsure about? I'm willing to bet that there were at least a few more difficult hands in your last session. You'd have to work hard to screw this one up to a significant degree.

I never thought I'd be the kind of guy to post my bad beat in someone else's whine thread (espcially since I have a grand total of 4 posts), but tonight I finally lost my REAL bad beat virginity.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls, MP calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, 1 fold, UTG calls, MP calls.

Flop: (7 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, UTG calls, MP folds.

Turn: (4.50 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, UTG raises, Hero calls.

River: (8.50 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero raises, UTG 3-bets, Hero caps, UTG calls.

Final Pot: 16.50 BB

Results in white below:

I'm not so sure against a loose passive, especially on that board. Of course I was completely wrong in this spot so you're most likely right. I had planned to lead the river/call a raise, but maybe the passiveness of the 1/2 6 max is rubbing off on me.
