insane talent. it's a shame that she appears to have been handed crap writers for her music.

[/ QUOTE ]

awesome song imo

too bad we disagree on that cuz you were my only friend in this thread.

we have not seen a performance like that from this crowd, that's for sure.

What always amazed me was, talent aside, how a 19 year-old unwed mother became an American Idol. What does that say?

it says you would fit in well at the idol forums.

I'm not a 17 year old girl, so I doubt that. The point is that the youth of America are idolizing the wrong character traits. I wouldn't have a problem with this if the show was called America's Next Pop Sensation. Then by all means, let's get some stoners on the show too.

not what i was referring to.

i was referring to the fact that a comment like that is either hateful, and or ignorant. but it is prevalent with many in those forums.

imo, fantasia is a hero for being a single mom and is more deserved of idolatry than 99% of contestants.

btw, i don't say this to start a fight with you as an individual. i say it as part of an ideological discussion.

ahh. i have heard none of it.

this is first time i have heard her voice since last year and i loved the song.

when she started to bo-bo, i sure wished she was part of this group, because i missed the hell out of her. there certainly is only one fantasia

diana would be gone by now btw, or very close to it.

Interesting choice of words. Because best.contestant.ever would have to be Clay Aiken hands down. He has outsold every other contestant in records. He has outsold ever other contest in ticket sales. As for as being a "role model", the dude worked with retarded kids if I remember correctly.

i love clay

but his commercial success is because of the commercial route he has taken. christmas albums are nice but they don't always measure artistic ability. he has a wonderful voice and is a great entertainer tho. even though i had reuben futures, i think clay deserved the title.

but if you asked me which one i would like to see perform in a small venue, close to the crowd type performance, i would die to see fantasia.

She was terrible. There is no way that song would ever stay on the radio more than a second before most everyone changes stations. Same goes if you were listening to a CD.
