Default The perfect keyboard for your 2001FPs?

Has anyone used the Logitech diNovo keyboard/mouse combo? It looks like it would be awesome next to your 2 2001FPs. Any reviews/thoughts?

WOW - $250? I like being up to date with my toys but could this really be worth this much?

Don't get it! I repeate DON'T GET IT! At least not the bluetooth version. Read through the reviews on Amazon. Mechanically, they're a piece of crap.

I own two. Why do I own two? Because I needed another one while I sent the first one in to get repaired. So why don't I sell the one I got back after they repaired it? Because the second one I bought broke too. Yep, thats right, they both broke. Approximately a month after recieving them the keyboard stops responding. It's happend TWICE now and it's happend to many other people as well.

Aesthetically speaking, they're beautiful. They work great for what I need. I can control my media center computer from across the room with no problems. They feel awesome. But, if I pay $180 for a keyboard and mouse I expect them to work. Sadly, they don't.

Your gamble....

Eh, I'm a guy who prefers function to form. My keyboard and mouse don't much eachother, or my FPs, but they're damn comfortable and effective.

How's the MX1000? I was thinking of just getting that instead. Care to give your thoughts?

It is the finest mouse I have ever used. Occasionally I will use someone else's mouse, and remember exactly why the MX1000 rules. It is one of the top computer purchases I have made.

I didn't read the Amazon reviews before I posted, but I did read a lot of other official site reviews. I'm shocked by the actual user reviews because all the other sites went on and on about the great quality of the keyboard. What gives? Have they improved it due to complaints, or are the other hardware review sites just lying?
