Default Ace high flush vs. straight flush

Playing heads up, Im on the nut flush and the guy rivers a straight flush. Heads up table you wonder what are the odds? Only 52 cards in the deck and they have to come out. No big deal except it sucks to be on the ass end of it.

Do you play at Harrah's much? A couple of us were having a debate regarding your identity.

And yes, I'm deliberately hijacking this thread.

funny you mention Harrah's, the very last hand I've played there I straddled UTG and hit the Ace high flush, and was beaten by the only possible straight flush, it was one of those days my luck was so bad I couldn't stop laughing

We must not be talking about the same place, as straddling is against the rules there.

what kind of responses do you want except suck it up and play on.

if you really want the numbers, post in the probability section, I'm sure they can help you out more.
