One humble suggestion. Since it seems as though people feel very strongly about this blue/white debate, why not start another poll now that people have had a chance to see both the pros and cons, set a finite period of time to vote, and, pardon the pun, let the chips fall where they may.
You could even request that only people who are strongly considering purchasing the chips vote, although such a request would require the honor system. I know that one poll is already out there, but I think by making it clear that this one will be the deciding factor might help get as a close to consensus as you're going to get.

I won't be buying any 25c chips and I'm going to hate having to cut out one of the best looking chips in set.

You can't posssibly please everyone, because there are people that refuse to buy a white chip no matter WHAT denom it is. Ten Ten

I already have a decent one similar to that, with rights released for my Chipco set. I never ended up using it. I'm not really happy with the curve on the wings, I like more outstretched wings. (Maybe in bettwen fully flat-horizontal and fully curved) Re: Google for scarab: I went through 30 pages oc "scarab" "winged scarab" "wings scarab" and didnt find exactly what I wanted. We'll keep going. Both Johnny5 and I already agreed prior to posting the current set that it's not 100% right to have two images that look so close. That includes not bringing back that Sphynx head from the Luxor... Ten oh, here's the old chip image from Version 1.0 of my last set:

This debate is raging because there is about a 50/50 split in Vegas and California poker rooms on white and blue for $1. I'm not going to fold if Ten doesn't go to blue for the $1, but I'd love to have the blue/white poll percentages on all my all ins.
