This is exactly what you wanted to happen, now you just have to call. You're set if he has a lower pocket pair and he is dominated if he has AKo.

It was certinly just what I wanted and I was glad I had KK and not a lower PP. He put me all in with JT sooted and flopped OESD and hit it on the turn. I knew it was an insta-call but I just was wondering what I would have done with QQ or JJ in that situation.

I'd run him through Prophecy...if he was a 40%+ ITM player i'd consider folding, but probably still call hehe...if he was a 25% or so ITM player i'd call instantly...the thing is its so early and you are so likely to have him killed...on that 1 out of 5 or 1 out of 10 chance you are beat...you'll get there 20% of the time anyway, if not...open a new tourney. thats poker.

not nearly the same man...with QQ you are a coin flip to AK or AKs whereas you have that hand killed w/ KK, and with JJ you are beat or a coin flip to a bunch of hands he could possibly have. With KK you are only worried about one.

as i said in another response to this...

with QQ you are beaten by only KK and AA...and you are a coin flip to AK...so only three hands that have a decent shot at beating you.

with JJ all of the following are cause for concern:
AA, KK, QQ, AK, AQ and KQ

so as you move down in pairs you can see the exponential growth of the hands that can easily beat you. with KK the answer is 1, QQ the answer is 3...with JJ its 6! Even three is a lot, but 6?!?!?

MUCK THE JACKS....call with the queens and praise yourself if you win, call yourself a fool if you lose hehe

looks as if you should have called them both...get Poker Prophecy man...i'm sure that guy was a losing player, no winner would do that so early...if i run a losing playyer through and it returns something like 22% ITM i'll autocall with ALL SORTS of hands in that spot. some guys just like action, if you're a huge favorite, you might as well give it to them.
