Default Murphy\'s Law

After two months of looking at 2, 3, 4, 5 and runner runner outs, I now have a much more intimate understanding of Murphy's Law. Just two from today's 20/40 game.

I have K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] on the button and call after 3 limpers all loose and clueless. BB raps. 5 of us.

Flop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Checked around.

Turn: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] check, check, check, bet and I raise. Bettor calls

River: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] check, check

-----------------------------------

A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in SB after 4 limpers, one EP, two MP and one LP. BB raps.

Flop A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I check, BB checks, EP bets, all fold back to me and I call. BB folds.

Turn: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I check raise EP's bet.

River: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I bet and get raised.

In second hand I figured I was about a 3:1 favorite. First one I dunno.

Default Re: Murphy\'s Law

I have no idea how Murphy's Law applies to either hand here.

Hand 1 is nothing special at all. If Murphy's Law applies becuase you lost any money at all with K7s, then I understand.

Hand 2 is again nothing special becuase in these situations I find you are still winning much of the time, and you are being raise by two-smaller pair.

If I misunderstood, I apologize.
