2/4 isn't tighter than 1/2. The rake threshold at 2/4 is $20 which is 5 BB's. So you play a lot of hands that aren't raked. 1/2 is raked starting at $5 which is 2.5 BB's.

I just used the code. It didn't show up automatically but a call to them and a minute later I had my bonus. The guy at the other end was fast and pleasant.
