6-handed Party 5/10 6-max.
Villian in this hand has been at the table for one orbit. Unknown, but he hasn't done anything stupid or laggy in his one orbit. He has raised once and didn't showdown. I am UTG w/ A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I raise, villian 3-bets. Folded back to me and I call. Flop is K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. What is my plan and why? |

I check-call the flop, then bet out at a Q or A on the turn or check-fold a blank. Board sucks so far, but turn could certainly help you and hopefully he's passive enough to check the turn if he's got nothing as well.

billyjex,
Easy...easy...easy check-fold. Why? Worst case you're drawing dead or close to it and best case you likely have 6 outs. Also you're out of position. This is an auto check-fold. ___1___ |

this is an easy check fold. You are almost always drawing either dead or to three outs.

Cool, that's what I did. Just making sure of these common flop situations.

Maybe i'm crazy, but i bet at the pot. If he has some monster he'll let you know usually.
