PARTY ANNOUNCES CANCELLATION OF ALL RELOAD BONUSES FOR 2005

Due to an unexplained surge in amount of bonus money paid out in January of this year, Party Poker announced yesterday that it has been forced to cancel all further reload bonuses for 2005.

"I just don't know how these bonus codes get out," said Jill Bardacko, VP of Promotions-Existing Player Base for Party. "We noticed in November that participation rates had begun to rise, and the December increase was even more, but in January we were almost 500% over our budget."

Because January's promo budget is already the biggest of the year by far, the 500% overrun actually used up more funds than were budgeted for the entire year.

Bardacko denied persistent rumors that Party's financial health has been jeopardized by the January bonus snafu.
