Anyone elses notes tend to be just hate rants? Usually after I get all my money in with the best hand and get outdrawn the other persons player notes tend to look like this:
calling station/cant bluff, stupid [censored] douche who probably supports child molestation, a dick, watches oprah, sniffs his own socks etc.
anyways this makes me feel better and i dont go on tilt afterwards.

[/ QUOTE ]

I rarely put notes on players but last week I was playing on Empire and noticed I had notes on one of the people at my table. I opened it up and my notes said "blah".

I have no idea what the hell that was supposed to mean... I take it that guy sucked me out at some time and that's how I felt about it.

I hope people have me pegged as a fish. I've been told on several occations that people were adding me to their buddy list. I just tell them they are welcome to sit at my table at any point.

This reminds me of a great chat window conversation I once had. This was hilarious, I swear I'm not making any of it up.

Weak Tight Table Coach: Nice hand, but you shouldn't have called that turn, you didn't have the pot odds.

Calling Station: Yeah, I wasn't sure about it, but I thought you might have been bluffing.

WTTC: I don't bluff at you because I know you call too much, not to be rude, but those are my notes on you.

CS: Ok, I'll try to fold more.

Me: Got any notes on me?

WTTC: Yes - too aggro with AQ preflop, too aggro with overcards postflop. You shouldn't bet just overcards unless it's heads up. And AQ is a limping hand unless you're trying to steal.

Me: Not even with a gutshot plus backdoor flush draw on the flop?

WTTC: Nope. You should read Theory of Poker by David Sklansky, there's a whole chapter on why AQ is a very marginal hand.

Me: David Skanky? Never heard of him. Has he ever won the WSOP?

WTTC: No, but he writes good books.

Me: hmmm, maybe I'll check it out, thanks.

This is exactly why we shouldnt worry about the games getting disgustingly hard just because people are publishing more good books... there are always stupid people who think they understand them and dont.
