From Cleveland, what B&M would be best?

I'll be visiting Cleveland for two months, want to make a few B&M trips for poker. Where should I go?

Buffalo, Detroit, Indiana?

I would probably say Detroit. Never played Greektown but hear games are very loose there. I imagine Indiana just has riverboats? Not sure. Others can probably provide more details, but from a comfort level, thats where I'd go.

True, but it is 3 hours to Detroit, so it is just 2 hours more.

Either way, I think I would want to get a long weekend, scope out some airfares, and fly to Tunica.

I can't say where you should go. I can say the drive to Detroit is not bad. Scenery-wise it is really boring, but the roads are good. Until you get to Detroit itself, then you must dodge potholes large enough to swallow your car.

Once you are in Detroit you can visit three different rooms. Greektown, Motor City and the newly opened Windsor room across the border(bring birth certificate or passport for easy border crossings).

If you care about action and not atmosphere, try the charity games around town. There is a hotline 216-676-4500, and I believe there may be a website as well, but I don't know what the url is. The action on the east side always super-loose, typically passive at 3/6 and 5/10, and the 10/20 is usually very aggressive, and probably the best game I know of anywhere when its going. I don't know much about the 15/30s spread on the west side, but I'd imagine they are soft as well. If you're looking to play low limits 3/6 or low buy-in NL, I'd try Seneca either in Irving or Salamanca. If your looking for something a little higher I'd suggest going to Greektown.

Buffalo, and go to the Seneca Niagara, action up to 30/60 min on weekends. If you get board you can cross the bridge to Canada and play in the new room there.
