My friend and I would always ride our bikes to the 7-Up machine to get us some Cheerwine! (And Howdy Rootbeer)

North Carolina is the only place I've ever seen it. They also make Sun Drop which is like Mtn. Dew.

Cheerwine is great!

I didn't realize how few people knew WTF Cheerwine was. Maybe we (those of us in NC) should ship/bring a case to Vegas (or some other spot with lots of 2+2ers) sometime.

In a change of heart, I now believe it to better than Orange Crush.

For those not fortunate enough to be from Cheerwine country (which apparently is the area within about 200 mi of NC). It is a cherry flavored soda. Since its from NC it is very sweet because people from the south love their suger.

It is extremely popular in North Carolina and I remember back in middle school one of the drink machines actually had a knock-off brand called Budwine.
