Then the poll could be somewhat meaningless, right? If everyone gives you a SD from 4000 hands, you're not going to get the results you're looking for.

i can't really speculate whether or not my standard deviation has actually gone up since i switched to shorthanded b/c i have 4 times the amount of hands at shorthanded then i do at full ring. It seems like It has though. I play a few more hands in earlier pos. and loosen up a touch so it seems inevitable that my swings per session would be a little greater. However i still don't have enough hands at shorthanded to make an accurate decision. I think that your runnin really good right now man. I bet once your cards slow down a little your SD will rise a bit.

I suck with poker tracker .... where are my standard deviation numbers ?

I should really utlize this thing more, I mainly use it to check very basic stats and keep track of my profits lazy.

About the sample size.... Im not sure how accurate your SD is after 4k hands, but mine hasnt moved more than .5BB in the last 10k hands.
