Laydown the Cowboys?
Villian is 100% VPIP and hadn't raised PF once in 7 or 8 orbits. He has never bet without the goods and had limped with A-K (against my A-Q with an ace flopping of course).
I KNEW he had aces yet I stubbornly called down. Hell, I think I could have folded to the PF cap against this guy. Do you trust your read that much in a case like this and let it go early? Re: Laydown the Cowboys?
Here it's really easy as even QQ has a set so the best you can do is a split. So yeah fold the flop. Don't fold preflop as you know a set will payoff good.

Re: Laydown the Cowboys?
Tough one considering your strong read on this guy.
However, I still raise the flop to see what happens. He may have JJ or KK. AA and QQ you are beat but you cannot assume that over eight orbits. If you have 500 hands on this guy maybe you can say he only raises with AA or KK. Raise the flop and if reraised, call him down. |

Re: Laydown the Cowboys?
The guy isn't capping with JJ. Most 2+2ers won't even cap with JJ.

Re: Laydown the Cowboys?
I'm sorry but I missed the pre flop cap. I thought he smooth called the reraise. My mistake. Yes I fold on the flop.
