So, after we play poker at the muck on the 30th, we're kidnapping you and forcing you to watch them all back to back.

Best sequel ever is the Godfather Part II. "And it ain't close," as they say.

Tim: Joe I think you will agree with me that Godfather II is by far the greatest sequel ever made.

Joe: Absolutely Tim. As for worst the Beverly Hills Cop sequels were both horrific.

Tim: Those were a couple of real stinkers Tim. I would also add The Matrix sequels for a couple of recent disappointments.

Joe: Good work Tim

Tim: Back at you buddy [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I fully expected this type of response....I pictured the type of scene in a bar where the music comes to screetching halt.

And you're 26?? Good god man, I don't see how you could have avoided all those movies even if you made a concerted effort to do so.

I liked both but thought Bourne Supremacy was better than Bourne Identity.

what I hate is the sequels that take place way after the original movie, like "Halloween H2o," or "Alien Resurrection." When I was talking about movies that ruin the originals, I was referring to the "Star Wars" prequels. I look at Darth Vader and picture that kid...ugh. Godfather III is the most horrendous abortion of a movie sequel I've ever seen. Oh, and T1 is better than T2, and T3 is no good.

No, because it didn't have the advantage of the weird setup and figuring out what the hell happened to him, and because they killed what's her name, Famke or whatever.

Both were poor adaptations of the books anyway. Saying one is better than the other is sort of like saying the second time I got fukced in prison was better than the first.

I consider the second and third to just be one really bad movie broken up into two parts. Neither was really enough on it's own to be called a movie, and neither hand an ending worth speaking about. What a way to turn a solid gold movie into total crap.

[/ QUOTE ]

I can't agree with you on the second one, but the difference in quality between the first and third is the largest I've ever seen. What the hell were they thinking?
