Default 6 Max vs. Full 10 Handed

I play exclusively 10 max ring tables. If a few seats open up I leave the table unless it's really profitable. I figure the more hands I see for the least amount in blinds the better.

Why do people like the 6-max tables ??? Does it benefit a certain style of play ?? There seems to be a lot of postings so I was wondering if I was missing out on something. I assume it favors L-AG, which I'm not.

players play looser. you can win more per hand. hands go by faster. you play more hands per hour.

6 max favors (shocker) tight, aggressive players who are good at hand reading.

you are missing out on something, but if youre really not that good nut-peddling doesnt work quite as well shorthanded.

for what it's worth, i used to play only with 8 or more players because i didnt think i was really that good. but i gave 6max a shot and turns out im pretty good after all. you might find the same thing, give it a try.

Read any of FimbulWinter's post on the differences/advantages. I really think he sums it up best, and I dare say he seems to be the small stakes guru on 6max play.
