Partypoker qualifier question
I have recently qualified for a $200k tournament thru a satellite. It turns out that I might not be able to make this particular tournament. Has anyone ever experienced this? Does Partypoker allow you to withdraw the entry and play a future tournament?

Re: Partypoker qualifier question
I have called them a couple of times regarding this and they have emphatically said no! They should adopt a system like PokerStars where your win is stored in terms of tourney dollars....

Re: Partypoker qualifier question
that sucks..maybe you could post a thread and offer the entry up to someone here who was going to play it anyway.. IE give them a little more than buy in + rake in return for ticket price.

Re: Partypoker qualifier question
I don't think PartyPoker qualifier wins are transferable.

Re: Partypoker qualifier question
They won't let you trade, give away, sell or otherwise do anything with the entry but use it. Trust me, I've been down this road before.

Re: Partypoker qualifier question
I agree this is total BS. A while back I won a WSOP satellite sub qualifier and had a $600 entry into the main WSOP satellite qualifier. I could not make the play. I called them and tried to reason with them (I am probably one of their top 10% in terms of frequent play). But no dice! I even had one of their managers call me and I got the same monotonous response. "We at PartyPoker love our customers. But you read the rules of the agreement. It is clearly listed on our web site...." and so on and on. They just throw the book at your face. For all the $$$ they make off us players you would think they would be a little more accomodating!
