Need a strategy for home tournament

Start off with T200.
Blinds are 1/2 and double every half an hour.

How should this affect your play? Play tight in the beginning, or loose? Try to gamble or pass?

Usually the game is played with 1 table (7-10) people sometimes with 2 tables (16 max).
