Re: Anyone willing to take a look at levels 3ish to 5...

Thanks for the look... yeah, the chat is worthless, and it's true that I only got called by legitimate hands. I suppose the guy who said he "doesn't like thiefs" is hoping for lifelong positive...

Re: Anyone willing to take a look at levels 3ish to 5...

Cool, thanks. I suppose a second question, besides whether these push-points were okay, is where opportunities were that I missed.

Anyone willing to take a look at levels 3ish to 5...

...of this Party 10+1, and comment on my push points? Sorry to post a whole HH, but I'm feeling a little lost and wondering if there are some points I'm missing. This is mostly 5-handed - not quite...

Re: Some marginal situations. Push?

Some info I left out:

1. Preflop UTG folds to me.

2. Same - UTG folds.

Some marginal situations. Push?

Another push check-up post, but with a short-stacked twist. Any help is greatly appreciated. These are $10+1's.

Good push, given the reads?

These two had been raising and calling PF with ANY ace, as well as crap like QJo. Good push, given that they probably had a few of eachother's outs? Turns out they both had A10.

PokerStars...

Re: Push check-up...

1. Doesn't it make sense to push? If UTG and MP both have overcards, they've likely got some of eachother's outs. You're a favorite to win the hand by about 10% over AK and AQ, and by about the...

Re: Decent hand for a push - what about a call?

Right, right. I actually meant push (the rest in), which is what I did.

Re: Idiotic push?

He raised 2-2 from MP - 5th or 6th once, very early in the tournament with 9 people still there and a few limpers behind him.

In any case, thanks guys. I do see now that my stack size made the...

Idiotic push?

Silly to take what would probably be a coinflip with stacks this deep? Elementary blunder or just a marginal play? Villian had been raising to about that level with pairs down to 2-2. I was just...

High-stakes All-in Fests (low content)

Apologies if this is a silly observation. As a $10+1 player watching the Party WSOP Step 5's and 6's, the preflop pushes seem insane to me. I'm seeing level 4 AQ pushing against K9 who calls. ...

Weak Tight QQ Hand? Stars $10+1

I'm probably second-guessing horribly. My only concern here is that the check on the flop doesn't look like AK, and the river bet doesn't look like KK. I'd held good cards and won a few pots...

Re: Which site has the best sit \'n go\'s?

What strategy works best? I've been folding most non-premium hands during the first few rounds - raising preflop with 10-10+ and A-K.

Which site has the best sit \'n go\'s?

I was playing sit 'n go's for a while at Poker Room, where I was relatively successful. I recently moved over to Party and I'm barely breaking even playing the $10 sit 'n go. The blinds seem very...

Re: Suggestions for beating this home game structure?

Thanks, guys. Just to clarify - this is no-limit Hold'em that's being played, and the small blind does stay at half of the big blind. For example:

Level 1 - .05/.10
Level 2 - .10/.20
Level 3 -...

Suggestions for beating this home game structure?

My low-stakes home game has recently adopted this structure:

4-6 players

$5 buy-in, 1 re-buy per player if busted.

Blinds start at $.05/.10, with the small blind increasing by .05 and the...
