Re: HORSE and SHOE events

[ QUOTE ]
people say they like to play poker and all they play is holdem.

[/ QUOTE ]
holdem is poker, therefore if they like to play holdem, then they like to play poker.

Re: Potential time travel paradox discounted by quantum mechanics.

Traveling back in time is theoretical. This is just a theory to explain how the "killing your own grandfather " paradox can be avoided. Neither this or the many worlds theory have been tested.

Re: AQs in BB, common situation

check/fold

i think betting out is better than calling if you have any fold equity. It would be better if the field was smaller.

Re: A 10 against fishy

It would force the blinds to fold and increase the chance of winning the pot. Are you saying that the pot is too small to make this profitable? Is it better than calling?

Re: A 10 against fishy

fold the flop, fold the turn. If you continue with this hand I think a flop raise would be in order. In this case I fold to a turn bet and bet if checked to, and check/fold the river UI.

Re: 55 set but board paired higher...

We are behind KK(3) 99(3) JJ(1) KJ(9) J9(9) a total of 25
The only hand I can put UTG+1 that we beat is QT(16)
I think that KJ and J9 are unlikely though it is possible UTG+1 overplayed two pair...
