Re: How to play these Js?

well, I did push. But I just wanted to see what others thought....not a bad beat post, though I did lose. I figured I'd only get 1 caller, but they both called, had As, and an A came.

Re: Shortstacked, but not TOO shortstacked

thanks for the replies. <10bb? wow. Ok, then what would you do in this situation (which I just had)? 1750t left, 200bb level, 5 players, CO position with a fold in front, holding KTo?

Shortstacked, but not TOO shortstacked

How do you play during a $20+2 tourney when you have 6-700 chips at the 50/100 level and blinds won't go up for at least a few hands? I find this time difficult, as lots of players that are somewhat...

Re: what hands would you push with?

I mean, if I was the bb, I'm more likely to call an sb's push than the button's push

Re: what hands would you push with?

Thanks, I guess this is a leak of mine. I'm also more likely to call a push from the sb than from the button....aren't you?

what hands would you push with?

ok, blinds are 75/150 in a $20+2 Sit&Go with 6 players left. You have 650 chips left, you're in cutoff position, and the 2 players in front of you fold.

1. What hands would you push with,...

Re: push and pray?

thanks for all of the responses. I just wanted to feel good about the move.

But now I'm curious about what KingDan and Rootabager mentioned. Are almost any two worth pushing here?

Re: shortstacked with 7 players, 150bb

oops, that was a typo that I repasted.

I was indeed UTG in the 2nd hand. I find it tough to call this one, as it leaves me with such a shortstack for post flop. But it's also tough to push, as...

Re: Pot bet two pair with connectors on flop and loose caller?

first of all, I wouldnt have called the see the flop. On the flop, I probably would have done the same (pot bet) but because I'd hope for a call, not scared to commit more. I put him on A9 or a...

Re: Some confusion with lower pocket pairs early...

I'd call a 3bb raise (an extra 50 at the 25 level) with another limper/possible caller...and maybe without but reluctantly. I also wouldnt limp with 44 after level 1 without late position or another...
