Re: Going out with a bang...

Couple of things:

"Knowledge" gained in school not only comes from memorization of calculus equations nor one's ability to recall the causes of the Russian Revolution. "Success" isn't measured...

Re: Calling an all-in with a gut shot?

Facing a preflop raise and an ace on board, I would fold every time without giving it a second thought. I like the bet representing the ace, but once someone comes over the top you are in bad shape....

Re: \"Winning Online Poker\" with Chris Moneymaker DVD commercial

With all the terrible players Moneymaker has helped bring to our various poker rooms, the people on this site should be cutting MM a check each month, not bashing him.

General Skill Levels at Different Sites

I was wondering what everyone's impressions were about the skill levels at different on-line sites. The consensus seems to be that Party has the weakest fields. I find the $30 tables at Party are...

Re: I can\'t stop berating players.

If you know that you made the correct play, you wouldn't...

Re: I should have folded this, right?

Wouldn't that probably depend on the SB's table image... and your table image, also? Had you been stealing his blinds a lot?

If he has any kind of hand, you're a coin flip at best, but I've seen...

Re: Please point out my mistakes in this hand

For what it's worth, I would have played it much like you, until his reraise. Out of position, I like the check after the turn, especially against aggressive opponents... leaves the door open for...

AK in the blinds in Level 1

I play $30 NL on Party

I lose too much money early in tournaments with AK, either in late position or in the blinds. Since the blinds are low, it is not uncommon to get a bunch of limpers before...

Re: biggest SNG pet peeve.

Passive big stacks and people playing slowly really annoy me, too.

But my biggest pet peeve is when someone cries about catching a bad beat. I catch dozens of bad beat a week (as I'm sure most of...
