Player A Bets - Bets $8
Player B - All-In $8.50 to $8.50
Player C - Calls $8.50
Player A - Raises $65 to $73 <----- Is this a legal raise?

My understanding is that Player A can not raise in...

Re: going down to AC tonight

I play a lot at the Tropicana and highly recommend playing there. Games are extremely soft at the 1/2 and 2/5 level. At times they spread a 5/10 game that can also be quite good.

One suggestion...

VPIP 3/6 ring on Party

I am looking for a general estimation of what my vpip should be at these tables. My sample size is still very small but my vpip is around 10%. These tables seem very loose aggressive so far and I am...

AQs from sb? 3/6 ring

I am new to limit and trying to figure out what the standard play here is.

I am in the sb w/AQs. A decent Mid position player w/stats of 21/14 raises, poor button player (30/15) reraises.

Whats...

Re: rivered like a little bitch, but now what?

Bet around 20. This way you also have the possibility of MP3 and CO getting caught in the hand. Buttons mini-raise makes a boat much more likely than a strong 6. Either way he is likely to raise,...

Re: My dumbest move ever

Bluffs should never be premeditated. You bluff when the right situation presents itself. This was not one of those situations, unless you had a great read on your opponent, which clearly you did...

Re: Problems with 2 pair on flop again.

Push the flop, by time the action reaches you there is $100 in the pot and you only have 200 in front of you. Any substantial raise would commit you, so you should push and try to take down the pot...

Re: AK hits flop, should I milk it or take it down?

You must bet in this situation. Say it gets checked all around, then on the turn you get bet into. Then whats the plan? You would have no idea where your hand stood, for all you know you could be...

Re: TPBK, paired board

You are still forgetting that there are still 3 people to act after the hero. Even if you feel he is POSSIBLY ahead of the bettor why get involved here. There is nothing wrong with sometimes laying...

You dont want more action with TPGK.....

Re: Who has more heart than zaxx19?

I like a flop bet here. I think your check would more likely make him think you were weak rather than strong and you dont want to give a free card which could help his hand. Also if you bet the flop...

Sorry misread the post, thought you were refering to the shortstack as the horrible player.

Re: Leaving money on the table with top set

This is very player dependant. Will he check raise on a draw? From your post is doesnt seem that he would. In that case, I put him on a set or 2pr. Flat call the flop then get it allin after he...

Re: Big Chip Stack

It doesn't matter how big your stack is if nobody else at the table has more than a buy-in. It's when you're deep-stacked along with another player (or players) that strategy changes...

Re: TPBK, paired board

Either Raise or Fold. Fold 90% of the time unless you have a good read on ALL players. There are still 3 players to act after you, and at this level many will slowplay a five. And either way you...

Re: Check behind on the turn?

Check behind. A bet here doesnt accomplish anything. He folds any hand you are beating. Keep the pot small then you can call a reasonable bet with any non heart river. Either way you lose the same...

Re: Quads on turn...how much do I bet?

If you believe either of them is on a draw you BET. Maybe 1/2 the pot or so. They would still call and if they don't hit you still get that extra bet in there. And if they do hit even better. ...

Re: $5/$10 UB Hand

I think this is very player independent. How tricky is this guy? He very well could have had AA or KK and was looking to check raise the turn. Is he capable of a bluff there? Not having that much...

Re: 10/20 nl routine fold?

I think its an easy fold. PFR of 1.7, he obviously doesn't get tricky preflop. I think he would only be capable of making this play with A's or K's, at very worst Q's which I highly doubt.

Re: How would you have played this hand differently?

I lay down 9/10 times with AQ in this situation preflop.

Being that you played I would say I like your play otherwise. I like the check/call on the flop giving MP a chance to also call. Maybe...
