Re: No odds for the call, but can I still make it?

If it's an online game, I really don't think you can ever be 100% sure of your read on a player. In your example, you the player would only need a 1/5 chance of him having 2 overcards to have odds...

Re: Runner Runner Royal - what are the odds?

here's the other part of the question: what're the odds of ending up with a royal flush when you've got AKs in the blind if you stay in the hand the whole time. the answer is (C(47,2))/(C(50,5))=...

Re: value of A2 heads up

Make sure to remember though, if you have the best hand it's a race for the pot, whereas if he does have you beat, he has a dominating hand (except if he has A3, A4, A5 it's not so bad) my odds...

Re: Top Pair Holds Up What % of the Time? Pocket Overpair?

Re: What\'s Wrong With This Statement?

Just because a play has positive EV doesn't mean it's the best play. If you check, it's possible your...

Re: Hitting the Party Poker bad beat, what are my odds?

Let's assume no one would ever fold a hand better than four 8s. Then you've got the same odds of catching it, then subsequently getting outdrawn are the same as everyboday else. That means your...

Re: What\'s the odds?

Here's the thing: the odds of a hand duplicating the previous hand are 1/1326, but you're only going to notice it when it happens.

say you play 100 hands. the odds that you at some point...

Re: What\'s the odds?

depends how you look at it: the odds of getting the same hand twice the first 2 hands are 1 in 1326. notice that this means you could have ANY 2 cards the first hand, so long as the second hand...

Re: quantify luck for me please

There is exactly one way: guess. Probabilities of the outcomes of hand matches are based on the number of combinations of cards that will make one hand win over another. The problem is they don't...
