Re: advice on this hand?
I would play it just as you did, there are five spades out there that could be beating you if they are paired with another spade. I think there's a good chance he has a bigger flush. Look at the...

My big leak
I think that this is one of my biggest leaks, going for draws and missing. It seems that I do this all the time and slowly lose money. I never seem to make it up when I do hit my draws. The Joker is...

Re: Call this river all-in?

Of course Batman calls and The Riddler has 88 and takes the pot. It just seems that I can grind out some upside only to have it all go away on hands like these? I guess a bigger bet on...

Re: Call this river all-in?
I agree with the pre-flop raise needing to be a bit larger, I'm a bit of a wimp with AK facing a raise+call.
Flop bet, figured I need to bet something and would then take the pot right there

Re: How many of you are doing 20 BB/100 or better
For NLa PTBB is twice the size of a big blind. For 0.25/0.50 a BB = $1.00 so your $/100 should equal your BB/100 when filtered for that level. If this is not the case, there's a problem!
See the...

KK and Mr. Hoover?
Here is a recent hand where my KK wasn't played sp well, IMHO.Villan is a rock (20%/3%/0.80/22%) who is pretty solid. What do you all think, do I push on the flop? Too weak on the turn. Very...

If opponent profiling is considered "cheating". What do they think we do with the hand histories they make available?
Doesn't make sense.

Re: Laying down AKo after hitting flop
Hard to put the villan on a set. In general I'd never call a raise with 33, 44 unless there were more players. 73, 74, 34 forget it. Kx:clubs: very possible and a re-raise on the flop could have...

The raise PF is OK in concept, but the amount is questionable. $1 does not represent anything. If anyone has PT on you they figure that you could have anything moderatly playable. I'd raise just...

Re: So whattya think about this play of AK?
70% of the time I'd play it exactly like you did with one minor exception. Id raise on the flop $12-16 rather than $8. Is this too aggressive? i'm just not a fan of the 2x re-raise it seems like an...
