SNG on Stars, winner gets a seat in the WSOP supersatellite.
We're heads up, 2nd place gets $70 in cash ($16 less than it costs to play this thing).
I have T10,200 to his T3,100. Blinds are T200/T400 with a T25 ante.
I'm on the SBB w/ Q9. I make it T1300 to go. He comes over the top and all-in. It's about T2K more for me to call. I'm getting about 2.25 to 1 on my call, which are odds I can't easily turn down.
But the other things to think about:
1) If I call and lose, he'll have T6600 to my T6900. So that's basically a tie (not good).
2) If I fold, I'll have T8900 to his T4600.
Combine these things with the fact that I think I'm a better player than him (both overall and heads up). Also, he's passive so I can see a lot of flops cheaply.
What's a good play? Fold and wait for a better spot? Close my eyes and call?
Comments appreciated, results later.
