In fact this is probably not statistically significant, but I was surprised.

Just played a two-table sit and go on PokerStars. It lasted 173 hands. In this time, I was dealt aces no fewer than eight times, and they all held up.

Other players showed aces four times, too. They all held up.

The hand history reveals no pocket aces losing a showdown.

Wow.

Guy.

Well Guy, since you have used up your quota of pocket rockets, you should go the next 1587 hands without seeing them. Have fun. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yeah I would move down to micro limits to use up those 1587 hands...

I've been dealt 8 sets of aces in the last 3,600 hands. Hmm.

Heh. On January 2nd last year I flopped quads in two consecutive hands back to back. I announced at the time that I had clearly used up my luck for the year.

Little did I know, it was true.

So now I've used up my aces for this year too. Oh well.

Guy.
