Question is in the title, are these results indication enough that I can play the $50 SNGs instead ?

Finished in the money: 42.57%
1st places: 10
2nd places: 17
3rd places: 16
Net amount: $657

Those results aren't great, IMO. You're looking at about 20% ROI. Something like 40% would be better.

I think by gaussian statistics you're probably not a net winning player to even 75% confidence yet.

All depends on your tolerance for risk, though. If you don't much mind giving back your net winnings, you could give it a shot.

Fair enough, I'm in no hurry to move up. Played another 6 and came 2nd in 5 of them.

Seems like my ratio of 2nds to first is far too high, any tips for the short handed play at the end ?

How many hands do you raise or all-in, typically?

Tosh I agree with east the numbers are great but from what I've seen of your play you should have no problem beating the 50's at party. That was the limit I was playing at until I had to withdraw a huge amount of my bankroll because of an emergency. I still remember that one sit n go at stars when you stole my blinds all night long and I never got a chance to play back at you. /images/graemlins/smile.gif I didn't know you were a two plus twoer at the time. At any rate no matter what you decided to do good luck.

Typically any pair, any ace, KQ to about K9, and maybe some other hands like QJ.

~28% of possible hands. A little passive depending on blinds and your opponent, maybe.

Try raising any hand >50% on this list:

and see if your results improve.
