In the Chicago are we have a couple of stations dedicated to sports talk. This would be a great avenue for Poker to try and make in-roads.

First advertising for on-line sites, local B&Ms as well as places that sell poker related supplies is hitting a bulls eye for target audience.

Second having interviews with players and discussing poker in general would be very entertaining. For example if Doyle Brunson came on and gave some of his poker stories to the audience who would be board.....well maybe those that live near Enron field.

Best watch out or my stud bull will......to Phil the crazed cow and then you will have to make a call on your cell.

There is a show available now that already does that check out www.businesstalkradio.net (http://www.businesstalkradio.net) World of Poker with Fred Wallin Saturday from 9-10pm.

And then there's this, taken from allaccess.com:

Longtime radio programming exec DAN FORTH tells ALL ACCESS that he's bringing the wildly popular WORLD POKER TOUR to radio. FORTH will develop, produce and market a complete roster of audio poker programming for radio and the web. WORLD POKER TOUR RADIO programming will include a live weekly talk program and a daily sixty-second feature. WORLD POKER TOUR is currently interviewing experienced radio talent to helm the shows, which are scheduled to launch in SPRING or SUMMER 2004.
