Yes and Party seems to be down too. More DOS attacks maybe?

I am back in. Many players out. I am in the 1200 person tourney.

This is very painful

a player on my table ran "visualroute". says there is a big canadian router that is dropping packets. not that that tells me anything about why, who fixes it, or when.

The 500 FPP Multi for Sunday is currently on a "break".

Question is for how long?

Administrator: We are still experiencing network problems. The reason is that Videotron which one of the major providers to our ISP is down. The ISP technical team is working on the problem. We hope that the problem will be resolved soon. Sorry for the disruption.

I'm in the $3+rebuys satellite for the sunday tourn. also been on break and disconnected for about half an hour.

I think we're looking at refund of entrys and rebuys at this point. Can't re-connect. can't imagine how they try to restart if they do....

I was still on when they said their network was down so they paused all the tournaments in hopes of getting it up and running. this sucks for me because i was in the middle of a $11 rebuy and was in 6th place when it went out. I hope they get it back up and running.

I finally gave up around 10:50. Dang, I should have waited a few more minutes.

Anyway, I requested a refund from the two tourneys I was in during the trouble and Stars refunded the money without hesitation, even though I had alreadfy busted out of one of them (although I would not have gone all-in without the problems happening).

My experience to date with stars customer support has been nothing but prompt and reasonable.

When I have made suggestions for improvements or changes, they have been courteous enough to answer, "here's why we can't do that" or "thanks, that's high on our list of software improvements".
