i had this same exact idea. he needs to do like a triump insult dog, ali g, tom green type comedy around the wsop just making fun of pros and amateurs, doing jackass acts. it would be genius.

this is actually the first time ive sat down to watch fillmaff, just never have before. i watched all 7 episodes and i was cracking up alot through them. i just love a good phil hellmuth parody and he does such an uncanny impression of him although sometimes it comes off as cheesy.

I don't know the specifics, but I can imagine the bidding war was fierce to find out which site would land the hosting of Secret System.

Plus, I can only imagine the millions of (virtual) dollars he's made via endorsements due to this work.

Not to mention, at the end of the day, it's not about the money, but about the work.

If Filmaff calmed down a little, or if somebody funny actually wrote the material, or if the lead actor didn't carry each clip with a series of ridiculous, annoying high-pitched squeals, well, the idea is there. I'm really surprised all of you like this so much.

it wouldnt be funny if he acted just like helmuth. we already watch helmuth on tv. it's funny when bill takes helmuth's mannerisms and exaggerates them to a caricature level.

think about the impersonations on SNL. its funny to watch bush and cheney parodied on there because the actors take a few traits about them and blow them up as a joke. therein lies the humor.
