Is it just me or is whoring really starting to go downhill? I havent got a relaod offer from party in 5 months, pokerroom takes about 4376595 days to clear, Absolute changed their bonus around, skins are done, Ultimate bet's a joke. The cryptos are a huge hassle, and prima seems to screw up every reload bonus ive had with them.

Man...this really sux.

I wish I could go back in time and prevent me from opening an account on every site known to man. I guess I cant pay micros to efficiently whore anymore....looks like Ill be building that bankroll back up the hard way.

It aint that bad.
Use the PPA x7 bonus at Party
Bet 365 5x
Bodog for Stud
Absolute is still good

Enjoy

Making a decent amount of money at the micros seems to be essentially dying. However, whoring is still hugely lucrative for those of us who play higher, especially 3/6+. Time to work on that game; if you can understand SSH, beating most 2/4 and 3/6 games isn't all that difficult.

what kind of hourly rate can you expect from 2/4 and 3/6 short handed games?

Something like that just from bonus at 3/6, especially if you've been stacking Stars. The problem with shorthanded is that there isn't much site selection, especially if you're unwilling to play it at Poker Room, which you should be. I much prefer full for whoring outside of Party.

I think sites are definitly cutting the fat. One of my roommates is up like 19 hours a day scouring the internet for different reloads and RB affiliate schemes, he's coming up pretty dry, wish I never showed him how to do it.

I loved that cactus dude from FF. He was hard as hell to kill IIRC, slick lil bastad.

Absolute sux ass now. I used to pull 150-175 ARP points an hour 3 tabling 6 max .50/1, now Im lucky to clear 100 if that 4 tabling now that they've changed their T and C.

With party I really dont trust them. Everyone I believe has had at least 1 pop up in 5 months from them....I havent. This makes me worry that if I depoist then my beons wont show up and I ll have to wait to withdrawl my money. Aslo I emailed them yesterday to see if they would offer me something....They offered me IGMPAY... I really should have used those before the split...but about a weeks worth of time to tranfer funs back and forth??... Boo party Boo!

Im going to clear my one stars bonus I have left, maybe hit up the PPA at party if they let me, and in the meantime I'm going to figure out a way to not have to withdrawl money anymore. God if I think about all the withdrawls I made in my first year Id be at 10/20 for sure.

6 max is still obviosuly the way to go for efficient whoring, WHEN IS 2+2 GOING TO MAKE A SHORTHANDED BOOK????!!!!

There is this new concept floating around that if you are good at poker, you can make money without relying on bonuses! Wow.

Are you saying this because you had foregone "other" money generating options when you opened these accounts, or is there another reason that you wish you didn't open them? I'm just whoring for the first time and was contemplating doing exactly that.

Its just you.

Seriously, I am so backed up with bonuses I don't know if I can get to them all.

Crypto monthlies
Martin's Poker $700 (no longer available)
Bet365 $100 this month
Betholdem $200 this month
PokerStars $120 not too long ago
Paradise $300 in the last two months.
Trident Poker $250.
EuroPoker $20 + shot at new Porsche Cayman S (now is the time to get lucky).
Bodog unlimited if need be.

Last few weeks have been stellar. I expect it may be a bit dry now, but I think right before Christmas it will pick right back up.

I'm not familiar with Trident poker; so I went to their website to find out more. It's a prima site with a $30 sign-up bonus for 350 raked hands; but I couldn't find the $250 you refer to, although I read through their "promotions" page.

Would you please tell us more about this $250? Thanks.

Must have ended - they had a reload late last month. A 10x, much like the one Betholdem has now. Trident's was pretty cool in that it is a "play at your own pace" thing where there is no deadline.

Just play 2/4 or 3/6 and play shorthanded, and all will be good, even 1/2 sh at absolute is not the worse, specially since that cool other type of bonus you should get form there is not deducted form you're MGR

12-06-2005, 05:53 PM
Yeah, Trident was a one or two week thing with no expiration on when you could play the hands.

There's plenty of whoring opportunities out there -- you just have to find them.

I made $3800 last month from whoring alone--times are still pretty good

no 2+2 book for shorthanded please...It'd be very tough to write anyway, and even more difficult for most players to grasp. It's not worth the efort for such a small target market.

12-06-2005, 09:17 PM
Are you kidding me? I just picked up $150 bonus last month on party botched reload, plus the specific reload, plus the 100-15 reload. Add my Empire reload, bet365 bonus, pokerstars reload, free $50 from Full Tilt, last month was one of the best months yet.

OK...copied out of my spreadsheet and I'm too lazy to switch the formatting. I have other spreadsheets for specifically tracking Absolute, Party, and Ultimate Bet deals. I track site, day rewarded, amount, and note about how it was obtained. Obviously, a few initial deposit bonuses helped...but, at the same time, I didn't fully utilize Absolute and I let pokerstars and paradise stack. I currently have over $7800 in pending bonuses. MyTurn2Raise

Since a few have asked,
only 1 of the bonuses I completed was account specific...the rest were available to all.
I didn't even hit up some easily available bonuses at Caribbean Sun, Golden Riviera, and numerous non-pokertracker compatible sites.

I caught some lucky breaks with how big checknraise and holdempoker sign-ups were, but still some decent stuff available from both sites.

This sheet does not include rakeback which I made from some of the sites nor does it include money won from freerolls and free tourney tickets I got for my play. For example, I made about $1100 in checknraise's 3 for the money freerolls this past weekend which were open to me from player points I earned clearing the initial deposit bonuses.

It's out there...go get it.

PS...it helps to have a bankroll...build that first so you can shift money around easily.

COMPARED to what it was...even 6 months ago, it's BAD but it's still not 'bad'.
I mean, the amt of hands you have to play is clearly going up on average...but still playable.

42k hands in November = 1400 hands a day. Do you not have a job or go out much?

Just curious. I 4-table pretty much whenever I'm home and come nowhere near 15k hands a month, let alone 42k.

I'm a fairly new whore, but I love it.

- $100 from Bet365 for 8-9 hours play.
- 25GBP from Ritz & William Hill for 5 hours each (also two others that I just learned about)
- Reloads from Party & Stars for $100 & $120

I play about 25 hours a week and wonder if I'll have time to clear them all off. If it used to be better than this...wow.

I'm not proud of playing that many hands in November. The holiday/ sign-up bonuses were too juicy to pass up. I try to max out at 30k. My hands are inflated because I play mucho 6max and I often go above 4 tables. For example, I 10 table omaha hi-lo to clear party bonuses at about 400 raked hands per hour.

Presumably to be efficient at this enviable level of whoring, your roll needs to be big enough to have adequate funds in multiple sites, and to have significant 'dead money' in cleared sites awaiting cashout, and significant 'hot-standby' money positioned in Neteller for reloads.

Presumably the 'whoring' roll would need to be above and beyond the roll for playing one's 'main game', with some amount of overlap depending on one's level of risk tolerance.

What would your recommended bankroll be for the ability to whore $1500-$2k in a month, and what would you estimate the weekly time commitment to be (play time + research/administration time)?

Bez
12-08-2005, 02:55 PM
I like to keep at least $2K available with having to wait for cashouts to hit neteller. Some signups require a despoit of up to $1K, so double that is a necessity. I try to play about 25h/week and aim to clear $300-$350 a week on average 4 tabling $1-$2.

MyTurn2Raise
12-08-2005, 05:27 PM
I cleared it playing mainly limit hold'em with about three thousand hands of limit omaha8 and a thousand of no limit holdem. I'm not as good at no limit, so I play enough to keep my game somewhat respectable.

My online bankroll is just below $10k. Absolute is a freaking bankroll hog if you try to take advantage of every bonus that site offers. I would say a bankroll of $2500-$3000 can lead to $1500 and up of bonuses. Of course, if that first few months money is kept for your poker bankroll, you'll easily have enough to keep going and get'em all.
