Recently I came across this picture (http://content.collegehumor.com/items/2005/10/collegehumor.1619247.451xAUTO.jpg) and another that was posted at Yale Dormatories with similar claimings. Could this possibly be true, "semen related costs in the thousands", seems like BS to me.

Yes - it is true. The protein and amino acids in semen react with PVC to cause degredation and blockages in the plumbing.
