View Full Version : Cant connect to 2p2 IRC server

I know the IRC server is efnet, but it says I need to install identd(?) I typed /identd and it said "identd is ON" but I still have this problem. Here is the log:

Although you have identd enabled in your client, that doesn't necessarily mean the server can connect to you (TCP port 113). This could be because you are using a firewall, or because you are being a NAT (ie: the IP address of your computer is 192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x or 172.16-31.x.x).

The answer to your problem is: use irc.choopa.net
It'll check for identd, but won't care if it can't connect to your ident service.
