MODS, please reword/rework this and post ASAP. Thanks

For the sake of those that try to help others in this forum please try to help yourself first.

MOST IMPORTANT RULE: SEARCH FIRST
How do I search?
Under the words infopop corp there is the SEARCH hyperlink. Click it.
Under forum search scroll down to Computer Technical Help
On the right of that will be a "fill in" box Keyword search terms. In this example i typed: video and this is my
RESULT (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/dosearch.php)

1)What monitor should i buy? Dell 2001FPs
2)What video card should i buy?
2a)For FOUR monitors: Currently i use a Matrox G450 MMS LINK (http://www.matrox.com/mga/corp/financial/products/g450mms.cfm) but it runs retail at 660 and there are much cheaper ones out there....
2b)For TWO monitors: I would suggest you go with MyMindisgoing and purchase this one if your mobo supports it LINK (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814161115)
3)What PC should i buy? A DELL! the support is great and you wont need 2p2 for help ever again (except for poker). The new GX620 optiplex work well and make sure you purchsaed a box that can support FULL SLOT CARDS (pci, agp, etc)

Your video card answer is incomplete anyway. I am curious what PCI-Express video card I should get. Also, some people will prefer a DVI+VGA card instead of dual DVI, but that is less of an issue.

The card I recomended was with the background that you infact wanted to have dual dvi outputs and not cost that much but is good enough for most things anyway. AGP was also what the person that time wanted.

And how should we know what you should get if we don't even know what you are gonna do with it?

I will differ with you on this one Dell's CS sucks since
they outsourced to India. Plus there's already a post on
this monitor Faq (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=inet&Number=2372874&fpart= &PHPSESSID=)

That was kinda my point. He just gave a specific suggestion for something that can't possibly fit everyone's needs.

what part of the above do you not understand?
if you want to gather ALL the videocards that can work with ALL the configs in the world then you take that quest on. I was making a suggestion and thought it would help by starting a thread like this. take your comments to OOT if its the kind you want to make.

me? i'm going to watch football.
