Any glaring reasons to get one over the other? Both have the wuxga option, the 9300 has the 17inch vs 15.4 inch monitor but is also bigger and heavier w/ less battery life. Any one not like the size of the 9300 ? Is it so big that you dont want to take it places?
Anyone with the 6000 have any touble seeing w/ the high res on the smaller screen ?
Im about to buy one or the other.

Thanks!

I have a 6000. Stuff on the screen is pretty small. But I've gotten used to it. Also, the 600 is already pretty big so I imagine the 9300 is a beast.

I got my 9300 about 6 months ago. Upgraded from a laptop with a 15.4. When I first saw it out of the box it seemed absolutely enormous. Now six months later it just seems normal size to me and all the other laptops seem small. I take it with me lots of places and its no big deal. My opinion would be to get the bigger 9300. I splurged and got mine completely loaded with the top of the line everything, and I absolutely love this computer. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a laptop.

The 9300 is enormous but totally sweet and worth it.

Dude, just get the 9300. 4 tables, no overlap whatsoever. 6 tables, 33% overlap.

Did you order this from the Dell site directly and did you have a discount or coupons or something? I guess the ATI card gives you the resolution for at leat 1600x1200. TIA for any further info.

I have a 9100 and hate it. IT is simple not portable and the battery lasts like 10 minutes it feels.

When on battery, hit Fn then push the down arrow all the way down. This turns your screen brightness down, and will vastly increase your battery life.

Love the 9300, the size of the screen is awesome, worth the little extra bulk. Now if I could only get it clean. Anybody?
