this is so in my wheelhouse.

most uncool brand ever.

don't do it.

zegna and maybe hugo boss are far better options as for some reason, tommy bahama is not only not cool, but also fairly expensive.

yes.

i found it exremely humorous.

almost as humorous as asking this group for fashion advice in the first place.

i was nearly dead certain that most respondents would highly endorse tommy bahama as i've seen a few 2p2ers in person.

If your over 35 TB is the bomb, if you are under 35 you have no real sense of style so nobody cares what you think about TB. You are not in their demographic. The results of your post are not very surprising.

Full disclosure - I'm an old fart who owns several TB and I do wear them when I play live.

Too loud.

If you're looking for aloha shirts go with Tori Richards, they're better imo.

...

this is a joke, right?

i should add im 24, so my taste is far different from those not in my demographic.

although i dont think i would ever wear tommy bahama stuff based solely upon his choice for the name of the brand itself.

i dont know, im just not a fan of shirts with parrots all over it, or something equally ridiculous.

but I dont wear the crazy hawian style shirts. I just like the really soft feel of the more normal looking clothes.

nah, wondering what others think

they're one of a very few clothes brands that makes the type of "camp shirt" that they're famous for

Not my thing but I'm not too big on boating/Jimmy Buffet/Hawaii/colostomy bags/iron lungs

EDIT: I almost forgot how geriatric this clothing is, thanks for remininding me Yugoslav

i went to a tommy bahama store, the clothes just dont look flattering... i.e., the women's clothes are baggy and plain... definately not something i'd buy for my gf.

the men's clothes all seem cut for huskier sizes too. like... the shirts are very wide, the pants too big etc etc.

The only person I know IRL who wears this crap is the oldest member of the STT forum....

I certainly wouldn't wear any of that crap....but since he's like almost on life support at this point it's right up his alley.

They have some very nice, comfortable casual clothes. I doubt I would buy it if I didn't get the employee discount, though. It's expensive.
