Hi, I recently had to rebuild my poker bankroll from $40 (had to cash everything out to pay), but I'm up a healthy amount now.

I was thinking of doing a quick casino round-up to boost my bankroll, but I'm not sure how much I should bet.

Is there a proportion between the bet size and the size of my bankroll?

I'm at about $750 now, and I doubt $2 bets on blackjack make sense.

Go to BW and do some searching in the casino bonus forums. There is a TON of info there.

You think $2 bets don't make sense because that's too much or too little to bet?

If you start with Starluck/Planetluck/AceClub, I think $2 bets are fine.

If I dedicate a $400 bankroll just for casino whoring blackjack, if I hit up casino-on-net's 100% up to $200 10x bonus, I'll have to wager $2000.

At $5/hand, I'll have to wager 400 times, and it'll be 400/5=80 units. Using the WOO charts for single deck blackjack, 80 units 400 times is less than .01% risk of ruin.

I think wagering $5 hands is pretty sensible, and it'll only take what, 2-3 hours to clear? Please check my math (I've never played blackjack).

I read the BW forums, and they're terrible. Got guys wagering $25 with $400 bankrolls and wondering why they went broke. Didn't see anything informative there.

You should definitely stick to $1 and $2 bets. The extra couple hours you spend will guarantee you would not go broke again.

$5 bets are fine, if you can stand some risk. But keep in mind that you'll have a 10% chance of losing half of it and being right back where you started, and tying up half your bankroll for a week.

That's a good point, even though I only have a .01% chance of going broke, I still have 10% chance of losing the bonus.

I just bet $2 and grind it out... but blackjack is easy and I'm patient.
