I'm tired. I'm going to bed, but just so I can sleep well, please tell me this is not a push.

SNGPT says yes.

yes it is, or yes it's not (a push that is)?

This looks like a pretty clear push to me unless either the big stack or the BB will call too much. And by calling too much, I mean down into weak queen/jacks for the big stack and like any two for the BB.

Sorry. Yes it is a push, even against slightly looser standards.

Now that I am awake, I actually did want to get some feedback on this hand. Here were my considerations:

For push:
- Small stack not small enough to get blinded out this orbit
- I get the BB next so my pre-flop position will suck the next two hands
- Neither small stack likely to call without big hand as they try to outlast each other
- If Biggy calls and loses he loses his big edge he really seemed to be enjoying
- probably have the best hand anyway

Against push:
- I made a play much earlier in the SNG that I am certain Big Stack remembers
- Big Stack has been on a wide range

SNGPT says push. I pushed. I am more interested in finding out if my for/against logic makes sense.

Thoughts?

To a degree you only know this because presumably big stack called you. You can account for both these cases though by widening the range that you put the big stacks call on in SNGPT. So it may make the push worse, but if it's +EV enough, it's been accounted for.

Called me on the earlier hand? No, but there was plenty of chat about that hand for a while. I got the wide range info based on the calls he had made knocking out #5 and #6.

But, I see your point.

Since you answered, any thought on my reason's For push? I'm afraid there might be a leak in there if I am putting too much credence on one or more of them.
