No I'm not crying rigged but just wondering what odds of this are.

Last night I got dealt AA in back to back hands and lost both to rivered quads (7's in one and K's in the other)

I'm thinking the odds of this are huge.

Did the cards up A7xx7 or 7xxx7? Like were you winning on the turn?

x = getting dealt AA twice in a row is (1/221)*(1/221)
y = rivering quads twice in a row (1/44)*(1/44)

both these happening = x*y

i know this is a very rough calculation that doesnt take everything into account, but the two main points were AA twice in a row, and "rivered quads"

Did you happen to go to the bathroom right before these hands? Let me guess, it was a homegame? I think you know what i'm getting at.

You play on party poker? /images/graemlins/smile.gif I had the same thing happen last weekend...AA back-to-back...lose to two pair on the river, though, then to a runner-runner flush....such is life, I guess /images/graemlins/smile.gif

One was A7xx7 - the other was KxxAK
And no it was not a home game - it was good old party.
I had a cap it with middle pair maniac at the table so it was no biggie - won it all back pretty quick
