out of sheer curiosity, what did you think you were behind?

09-18-2005, 05:00 PM
No way I can fold this, I push.

i don't understand this at all.

are you afraid of the 3rd man?

i don't see how you could put him on such a narrow range that you could fold here with him being all in for 1/3 of his stack, getting about 1.5 to 1 on the call.

i'm pretty disturbed by this fold.

what's your thinking, besides "man that sucked, i'll make sure no one else can come up with a reason to fold here."?

i'm not insulting you. if you want me to here "you're a douchebag." fine?

i simply wanted to know why you folded. that should be pretty to the point this time. if not:

Why did you fold?

I think this would be an easy call anything up to the 55s. I dont have too many 109s logged, but i feel like there are enough donks at the 109s for calling to be +EV. id expect to see 88.

I thought I was beat. In my mind it was 50/50, and I didn't have any reads, so I let it go. Plus, I'm seeing ghosts everywhere lately. So I'm playing on the scared side.

Why do all of your posts talk about how crappy your play was, even though that's the reason you're posting anyways?

Anyways I don't like the fold in your situation.

Edited because I can't read

Why didn't you raise this preflop? Why isn't anyone mentioning a lack of a raise preflop?

[/ QUOTE ]

Because he said not to mention it, because it was a misclick

I'm certainly not likely to fold postflop whatever really happened, but something is not right with the post.

Button has 1005 to start, but seems to be all in for 440.

Yeah, the converter screwed up. It was CO who pushed.

i'm confused

you have yet to say why you folded...to say what hands you thought you were behind...to say why you were scared of losing to the 400 stack, which would still leave you with 800 chips even if they did have you beat...

Chaostracize
09-19-2005, 01:14 PM
Nothing to be confused about. It was a bad fold. That is all.

No, original pusher had A high and I think the BB called with K7. At the time (while 8 tabling) I thought this fold was fine, then I saw what they had, and couldn't believe I did what I did.

I reserve the right to suck and continue playing 109s.

Here it sounds like you're defending the fold. If so, then why was it not beautifully played? Besides the misclick, but given we're not supposed to take into account the PF action, the only action in question is the fold. And when it comes to whether or not the fold was correct, I agree with the title of the thread; not beautifully played at all. Do you not agree with your own thread title?
