Button raises, I 3bet 88 from the SB, BB (a 50/100 regular who is very aggressive and a thinking player---stepping down in limits to grace me with her presence) caps it, Button folds, I call the cap.

Flop AKQr (10SBs)

Plan?

(oops wrote AA earlier I actually have 88)

B/c you're not ahead of enough of his capping range to continue.

you dont think 99-JJ ever fold on this board?

her capping range is probably 99+, AK

This is a horrible flop for you. I'd check/fold.
99 might fold, TT and JJ will at least see turn, so it will cost a lot of bets to find out.

JJ has gutter so you're gonna have to fire at least 2. Same for TT. They got 6 outs a lot.

My earlier reply was to the AA /images/graemlins/wink.gif

You check/fold and its not close.
Anything else is spewing.

edit: I just reread the hand again. I noticed button folded, it says SB folds, but I am assuming that means button.

In this case, I dont hate check/raise, bet turn and fold to any further action.

You better know, not just hope but know that she will fold JJ, 1010 and 99 on the turn though. What is players name? I might have played some 50-100 with her.

She plays on Absolute poker, and her name is "SIREN".

Fixed the action.

I think it's unlikely that many players fold JJ or TT on the turn getting 8:1 with a possible 6 outer and some nice implied odds.

Hey, I have played with her. I checked PT, it was only about 150 hands, but she seems to be addicted to showdown in raised pots from my sample. I would probably check/fold against her.

Openfold or check-fold. I don't think any other options are close.

If the table doesn't have disconnect protection, cutting your ethernet cable is also acceptable.

LOL, I actually like just disconnecting and takeing the free draw at my set in this big pot. Then login on your lap top, and get back in the game before the next hand /images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Fold. You're behind her entire capping range, and will have a hard time pushing an aggressive thinking player off a hand (she does have six outs if she has TT/JJ and there are only six combos of 99.)

That you're asking has me worried that you thought you could bully everyone out of this pot. This is not the right spot.

you're playing 3-handed. one of the players is a 50/100 regular and a good player. so the other player must be a huge donk right? but he just raised on the button and folded to a cap. can't be too much of a donk. ego gets you nothing in this game except stuck. IMO this is way more important than the hand itself

Just to point out...Siren is that girl who helps w/ Live at the Bike. Shirley soemthing. She plays a lot of high limit poker and is supposed to be pretty damn good. She used to prop the Bike casino to (maybe still does).

Im curious how this hand ended...come on, u know u want to put it up.

i agree. i got up after a few more hands. the other player at the table was on my fish list because he was spewing at lower limits but his style was really hard to deal with 3 handed. there was no reason to play in the game so i left.

it wasn't a matter of ego at all. siren wasn't too impressive from when i had watched her before but she may have been stuck.
