Sorry, title of thread is completely arbitrary and meaningless.

I had been raising a lot once we got ITM. I just raised Villain out of a huge pot on the river. Something feels ehhh here. But I could just be off my game. Is calling this standard?

Raise more to begin with, call the push.

How much more would be appropriate?

Interestingly enough you really only derive +EV from this hand if you push and get called. (Meaning in just a push/fold scenario).

If you want to raise him make it a min of 500 but I prefer a push. I mean there is gonna be a wide range you will have to watch out for unless the flop is completely under 9's which isn't super likely.

I simply push preflop here. You don't raise enough here and villain can call with a wide range of hands. I know that didn't happen, but a flop will likely have an overcard to your 9s, and then you're playing a guessing game.

Anyway, in this hand, call the push.

EDIT: hey fatdogs12, we more or less posted the exact post at the exact same time. You must be a dangerous player /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I don't think I've ever made a fold like this in the money.

"Ask BlueTooth!"? Huh?

IF you wanted me to answer your question, yes, push those nines.

I understand why I might not want to see a flop here, but do the size of the stacks compared to the blinds still warrant a push here?

Just make it t450. The stacks are still too deep to think about cutting down raise size, *especially* 3 handed.

so if we are pushing w/ t225 here, do we do the same with 99+ or just the more vulnerable hands and 3xbb w/ QQ+?

Now I'm confused. Isn't durron suggesting I raise to 450 instead of 375?

Is the small blind added to that number or not? Damn raw HH. Did you make it 75+375 or 375?
