Meh....dunno. Thought about NOT betting the flop - decided to w/ the flush on board...not enough i guess. Third diamond coming as a "K" - also brought the flush+straight to the table. River call kinda sucked. But considering my weak flop & turn...the price was almost right to look-up a frisky mid-PP or missed Ace, looking to pick up the pot.

I guess if I had one specific question - what about the flop bet? Is the 2flush a more convincing arguement for the bet or check when you whiff after a PF raise?

standard play.

Flop bet looks fine, you've got outs and he might fold.

I think you have to bet this turn.

The River call, I agree with, since you checkd the turn. However if he has you, he may have check raised a turn bet (and you may have gotten out cheaper?). Just my 2 cents.

Bet the turn check behind or value bet the river. So many hands will call the turn that are drawing, and you'll have a better idea where you stand in the hand.

Are you saying that hands that are not drawing are going to let you know that you're behind here (on the turn)?

I would bet the turn. Flop I don't think it matters that much if you check or bet, either line works. Just be careful as against clever players, a bet here leaves you open to a check-raise from a draw, and you can fold the best hand.

What about the turn bet? I seriously don't understand the check. A small bet of 200 or so here let's you know where you're at. Checking there a) doesn't charge draws and b) basically forces you to call a river bet.
