MSN Messenger killing me

My neighbour has no problems and I haven't switched any settings. And I keep getting this message, then I can stay online again for 1-2 hours and this again for 2 hours. Why? /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Edit: also my friends tell me they see me as offline even when i'm online.
