Hi, well I jumped on the bandwagon and bought two 2001FP's arriving soon. Thing is, I have yet to buy the actual computer and was curious what kind of hardware I need to run two big lcd screen's for 8 tabling.

I wanted to order one online tonight so any help is appreciated as to what I need and websites that have good computers that are not to expensive.

Plz help!! tyia

The only additional hardware you need is a dual port video card.

But...What kind of system are you looking to buy?

What is your primary usage?
Do you do any video editing?
Would you like to run the latest games?
Do you prefer name brands, off brands, or prefer to build yourself?
Do you want to be semi-portable?
And of course...What are you looking to spend?

Can you give me a name of a video card that has dual port? Is is a popular option? TIA

You really need to answer Richard's questions before anyone can recommend a specific card. If you're not going to be doing any gaming, the only feature you need to look for is a dual DVI card. Most dual-port cards come with one DVI and one VGA port, but with two LCDs, you want two DVI ports. You can find these cards on newegg for about $140+.

If you'll be playing today's 3D games, you can pay anywhere from $275 to over $500 for a graphics card.

I bought a Nvidia Verto FX 5200. It has two VGA ports to hook up to. If you play the latest video games then you want two DVI ports. The easiest cards to install are the PCI ones. Just pop it into the slot and run the software. It should run fine. But you have to be careful. There are PCI Express and AGP cards too. Any COMPUSA worker can help you out.
